Mold #9 – Stone Relief Mold

$30.00

Are your evil nobles and powerful sorcerers being force to live in drab manors and dungeons? Do your temples lack the proper adornment? Are your inns losing valuable patronage? Well, fret no more! The Stone Relief mold has highly detailed embellishments sure to please the most discerning tastes. The 28 quarter inch border tiles (24 of which are unique) and 4 half inch tiles are fitting for both your goodly aligned structures and foulest villain’s stronghold. The dragon shield crest can be used back to back, creating a hanging sign, or used directly on any wall. And the jolly greenmen will brighten any inn.

Due to the thickness of some of these pieces, resin is the recommended medium for casting. However with patience and care it is possible to cast with the stronger gypsum cement (Hydro-Stone) or a hobby stone (Merlin’s Magic or Excalibur.)

Check out my blog for more detail about this mold.

The castings from this mold add needed detail to my projects made using the Hirst molds. My daughter really liked dressing up the walls. I did use Merlin’s magic, and with care I can usually get the unicorn cast out intact. I plan on picking up another mold or two (#4 and #5).
